Weather Report

No, not the fusion jazz band, just me with an update. The snow and ice are pretty much gone, it warmed into the high 30s and started a thaw. Then rain swept in and it rained all last night, so only a few snow patches remain. Our street is clear, so things are pretty much back to normal.

A big snow-ice storm like this is a decade event here, so when it happens people try to just stay home, which being retired, we can easily do. With secure footing, I’ll be taking a walk in a while.

  1. Jeff Meyerson says:

Excellent. That’s the good part of living there – even when it does snow it doesn’t stick around.

  2. Richard says:

True enough, Jeff. It’s up to 46 right now, with light rain. Typical for this time, this place. It would be nice, though, if the US Mail would deliver, we haven’t had mail since Wednesday.

  3. We got a lot of rain last night. Our back yard and some of the side roads are flooded but I was able to get to work.

  4. Richard says:

Charles, we got a big wind and rain storm here, too. All traces of snow in our area are gone. Stay out of the deep puddles, mon.

  5. Glad your weather is improving. I woke up to a 12 degree temperature this morning. Next week we might hit the 30s. Only 40 days until Spring!
