Merry Christmas!

…or happy holiday of your choice. I hope you all get what you want when you open your gifts on Christmas Eve, or on Christmas morning (as we do). For us, it’s coffee and home made cinnamon rolls (á la Alton Brown’s recipie), then the opening of the gifts. We promised to cut back this year, it was supposed to be one gift each. There’s a slim chance we’ll have a white Christmas. We’ll see.

I’ll be back with a Friday Forgotten Book on December 28th and a New Arrivals on December 30 or 31st. See you then!

I hope you get your White Christmas. They were initially predicting that for here but now that is off. Still, we have some left over snow on the ground from last Thursday, so it is at least something. A very Merry Christmas to you and to Barbara!

  3. Merry Christmas to Barbara and you, Richard.

  4. Jeff Meyerson says:

What Bill said. Hope it’s a great Christmas for you and Barbara. We had a little rain here overnight but (thankfully) no snow.

Merry Christmas. Have a great holiday season.

  6. We woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Very Christmasy! The weather guessers are predicting a Big Storm for tomorrow night: we could be hit with a foot of snow. My snowblower, Big Red, is raring to go! Sounds like Santa was generous to you and your wife!

  7. John says:

Have a cool yule, Rick! We had a white Christmas in Chicago. And now we have an icy Boxing Day. Time to salt the sidewalks. Bah!

  8. Richard says:

No white Christmas, just steady rain all day and evening. We had a very nice Christmas.

  9. Patti Abbott says:

Snow here. Glad I am heading out to CA next week.
