Good for you. I only got one new book (the Gil Brewer short story collection) but finished four books the last week of the month – the 800+ page Updike collection; Mr. President, Private Eye; Murder of a Beauty Shop Queen, Bill Crider’s latest Sheriff Dan Rhodes book; and The Age of Miracles, a terrific first novel by Karen Thompson Walker – a dystopian tale about the coming end of the world told from the perspective of an 11 year old girl.

Pretty darn good range in that set, Jeff.

  3. I found a couple of Louise Penny books in Canada, Rick. And a bunch of other books. They’ll show up on my blog next week perhaps. Wish you were coming to Cleveland for BOUCHERCON!

This is especially the time when I wish I was going to, George, but I’ve come to loathe airline travel, TSA and the rest of it, so if it’s not within car or easy train range, I probably won’t be there, which includes your “hometown” one in Albany next year.
