Here is the one Wife just finished last week. We haven’t decided if it is to go on a wall (and if so, where??), be a throw, or what, but it took an incredible amount of work and was very difficult. It’s a real accomplishment for her, as it incorporates some techniques she hasn’t used previously. It isn’t finished yet, it still has to have the batting, backing, be quilted (we’ll use a pro for this one) and then the binding put on, so the outer edges are still rough-cut in the photo. Barbara needs to enter that one in a show. I think it would be a winner for sure.
A nice one. My sister would love that one, though she’s got too much on her mind at the moment for anything as mundane as relaxing.
Well, I can’t see it. I wonder why it’s not showing up on my screen.
Patti, she has considered it, but resisted because she thinks it may not be good enough, and there are better ones by other people. Try as I might I have had no luck convincing her.
Randy, sometimes, relaxing is just what the busy stressed person needs a dose of.
Charles, I don’t know. It does take a minute to load, it’s a big image. Other than that, I’m not sure, the others can apparently see it. You might try it with another web browser.
Wow – that is extremely impressive. I bet she could sell it if she wanted to. Really nice.
I doubt it, Jeff, because she had to take a class to learn those special techniques, and it cost a whopping $350. Plus another $150 in materials and then something for all the time it took her to make it, and that was significant. It’s unlikely anyone would pay $650 or more, even for a 60×60 inch quilt.
Some things are worth more than money…like this quilt. I wouldn’t part with it.
I have scant interest in or appreciation for fabric art, but this is effing stunning!
Thanks, Art. It was difficult and lots of work but came out the way I’d hoped

Why sell such a great piece of work? Enjoy it.
What a beautiful piece. It’s positively a work of art and deserves to go on the wall!
