No FFB this week

This Friday, Friday Forgotten Books is doing a tribute to Donald Westlake, who has a new book coming out any minute now. Since I’m not a Westlake reader, I’m taking the day off from FFB, but will be back next week with an oldie for you.

Meanwhile, here’s a picture taken from our deck of a recent sunset with moonrise. Enjoy.

  1. I’m reviewing my favorite “Richard Stark” novel for Patti’s Donald E. Westlake Celebration tomorrow. I’ll be looking forward to your “oldie” review next Friday.

  2. Evan Lewis says:

Great pic. It almost excuses you not being a Westlake reader.

  3. Todd Mason says:

Handsome, indeed. You actively dislike Westlake’s work? He wrote a pretty wide range of material…

  4. Jeff Meyerson says:

    Nice picture.

As Todd said, Westlake wrote a wide range of stuff. Surely there is something there you’d enjoy.

Try the first Tucker Coe book, for example…

  5. Richard says:

I tried two Westlake books, different characters, didn’t like and didn’t finish either of them. That was enough for me, there are too many other books and authors I want to read.

wow! now that’s a great view! beautiful photo!!!

  7. Richard says:

Thanks, deslily, the picture at the top of the blog page is also from our house. It is a great view.
