Old year, New year

As with the title of the previous post, the year is going fast, and I’m out of here until Monday January 3. Not that I promise anything special on that date, but I’ll be out of blogland until at least then. So Happy New Year’s eve, and New Year’s Day and may you all be safe, secure, comfortable and content the rest of 2010 and throughout 2011.

And the same to all who visit here.

  4. This is my first comment, but I often read your blog, and I want to wish you a very happy new year in that new home in Oregon. I hope you get the book shelves, or bookcases, that you want sometime soon and that you post pictures when you do.

  5. Richard says:

Thank you, Grant, I hope you have a great 2011 and thanks for stopping by!

  6. Happy New Year! I have a feeling 2011 will be an “interesting” year.

  7. Richard says:

That’s the old Chinese curse, George. I hope it will just be a darn good one.

  8. Jeff Meyerson says:

Just finished reading my last book of the year – #147. I hope to do better next year but overall I managed what I set out to do, namely read more of a variety rather than just 80-90% mysteries.

  9. Richard says:

I just did my tally, Jeff, it’s 74 books read, one of my lowest since 2004. I’m feeling like there is so much I want to read, and time is running out… arrrgh!
