I’ll be glancing in but not posting much – or at all – this week. There are many tasks needing my attention, including posting here, but I’m just plain tired. It’s cool and rainy and it seems like good weather for a nap or six.
I’ll watch some football but I’m not going to go wild over it – there are books to be read and the house to un-decorate later in the week, something we do on January 1st, usually, but this year it may even slip to Saturday.
2010
Hard to believe. Here’s hoping the blogging community, or at least our small part of it, has a happy, healthy, safe and rewarding New Years’ Eve and New Years’ Day.
My resolutions
(1) to walk more and lose some weight (2) read more, (3) do some reorganizing of the books and CDs in my Study, (the office-library), which will be a big project.
Jeff – 2008 wasn’t really so bad for us. We’re in okay shape financially, we remodeled our kitchen, there are a LOT more books here than a year ago, Wife made several beautiful quilts, our health is pretty good (except my weight). We have wishes, but who doesn’t?
Happy New Year, dear friend.
Reading books, getting healthy, and taming chaos. Those are good and worthy goals, Rick.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year, Rick! Hope 2010 is a whole lot better than 2009 was.
Thanks very much to you all.
Arizona is getting creamed by Nebraska. I’m goin’ to bed.
Good luck on the resolutions. And hope the new year is a better one for all of us.
I hope you have a good year and all your resolutions work out. They could be mine as well.

Randy – thanks. The same to you, and may your resolutions become achievements.
Ditto, Rick. Compared to many we know we had a good year as well, but good health is always something you can wish for.
We got to travel – Florida & New Orleans (twice) – and saw family and friends (Bouchercon in Indy), among other things.
Also got two new computers (one a laptop) and a couple of printers.
