Saturday Cool-off Picture

It’s Saturday, and where I am it’s pretty darn hot. Seems like it’s been hot for about seven months now, we’ve had a hot, dry summer in SoCal.

So I’m posting a favorite picture from our trip to Alaska last summer, where it was cool and beautiful. This one was taken during a day-boat trip we took out of Seward, down the Kenai Peninsula. That’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been.

NOTE: if the picture is cut off, (it is if you have scroll bars around the window), make your window wider and you’ll see the rest. As I’m using variable width format, changing the window width changes the width of the main column.Kenai arch 03 - IMG_0762

So if you’re hot today, maybe this will cool you off a little, if not, enjoy the beauty.

My God, that is a beauty. This is one time a year that Michigan really is glorious. Come on, over.
