  1. Cap'n Bob says:

They not only won, they destroyed the hated Broncos. A phenomenal performance.

  2. Jeff Meyerson says:

That was a throwback to the bad old days of one-sided Super Bowls. I guess the omens were there from the first play of the game.

  3. I knew the Seahawks would win. Peyton and the Broncos were overrated.

  4. Richard says:

The Seahawks had one of their best games of the season, just what you want to happen in the Super Bowl. Everything was working, the weather was good, the officiating was almost mistake free, the whole thing was a fine performance, except the Broncos couldn’t, as Chris Berman put it, “get of the schnide”. If you had told me the Broncos would go scoreless in the first half I’d have thought you were nuts.

  5. Patti Abbott says:

If you were a neutral observer, it was an awful game. But I’m glad for you northwesterners. Congrats.

  6. Jeff Meyerson says:

Loved that second half kickoff! It looked like everyone else was running in slow motion.

  7. Richard says:

Patti, I can see how Broncos fans or casual observers might think the game was awful, but anyone rooting for Seahawks was happy. We cheered every score and good play, though we never expected a blowout. I wore my Seahawks cap all day yesterday, and for the last week everywhere we’ve gone people have been saying “go Seahawks” the way people say “merry Christmas” in December.

  8. Richard says:

Jeff, Harvin only played in two other games this season, and only a half or less in those, so he was fresh.
