Just a quick update. The carpenter heard what I wanted, listened to my budget, balked, said he wasn’t sure, said he’d have to check on price of some materials, and would get back to me. Since I gave him my max budget, even over the amount Wife had approved, I am concerned this may not happen. That was yesterday afternoon, and he hasn’t called or emailed so far…
